This is the recording of the talk I gave after the screening of my short film impermanence to

the Center for Media, Religion and Culture at the University of Colorado Boulder on February 6th 2025, invited by

the director of the Center, professor of Media Studies, Nabil Echchaibi.

In this talk, I discuss the recent work of the philosophers Byung-Chul Han and Franco Bifo Berardi

who analyze the destabilizing effect that the acceleration of the infosphere has on our bodies, our sensory perception, and our social life. The work of buddhist scholar Shinzen Young offers additional insight into the concepts of impermanence and breathing, which are central to my art practice.
